"Indonesia has opened itself after viewing the development of `blockchain` technology that is growing rapidly in the world and is now approaching Southeast Asia," Oratmangun remarked here on Wednesday.
Blockchain is a system of recording or opening digital data that is widely distributed on the internet network. Each user has the same data access that has been agreed upon, and there is no data centralization.
Oratmangun had attended the inauguration of the Blockchain Center in Shanghai recently.
On the occasion, the Indonesian ambassador to China met with Director and CEO of the Shanghai Blockchain Center Sam Lee.
"Blockchain is the future technology of the business industry in the world, including in Indonesia," the ambassador stated.
Until now, Blockchain Global has eight branch offices across the world, including in China.
